A Word Before We Begin
The Lion Who
Roared Too Loud

Some stories whisper instead of shout. They drift gently, like moonlight through the trees, and make the dark feel safe.

A Bigger Roar

Little Lion felt something new in his chest. When he opened his mouth, his roar was louder than before. It echoed across the plains. He liked the sound. It made him feel big.

Trying It Again

So he roared again. The birds flew up in a rush. The zebras ran. His little sister jumped and hid behind Mama. Little Lion grinned. He felt powerful.

Too Much

All day, Little Lion roared. He roared at the wind. He roared at the grass. He roared just because he could. Soon, the other animals stayed far away.

The Quiet Plains

That evening, the plains felt empty. No birds nearby. No zebras grazing close. Even his sister played somewhere else. Little Lion sat alone.

A Gentle Lesson

Papa Lion sat beside him. "A roar is powerful," Papa said softly. "But power is not only for noise." Little Lion listened. He had never thought about that.

Another Way

The next morning, Little Lion saw a small antelope stuck in thick grass. Instead of roaring, he walked carefully. He nudged the grass aside. He helped quietly.

A Different Sound

The antelope looked up with wide eyes. It did not run. The birds returned. His sister came closer. Little Lion did not roar. He smiled.

True Strength

That night, Little Lion understood something new. Strength was not about being the loudest. It was about knowing when to be gentle. And sometimes, the strongest lions are the quiet ones.
